what are you listening to?

...when the still sea conspires an armor
and her sullen and aborted currents breed tiny monsters
true sailing is dead

awkward instant
when the first animal is jettisoned
legs furious pumping
their stiff green gallop

heads poised
in mute nostril agony
carefully refined
and sealed over...

This was the song that played thru my head this morning. I'm not sure I got the lyrics right, but this definitely is the mood I'm in. (I think possibly we are the horses...)

Wedding Music

Our daughter is planning her wedding music, so I have been listening to a lot of stuff.

She will enter to

YouTube - George Frideric Handel - The Arrival of the Queen of Sheba

Then at the reception she and the groom will enter to

YouTube - Queen- Somebody to Love

followed by

YouTube - Queen Good Old Fashioned Lover Boy

I'm just getting the "Queen" theme ... I'm a little slow sometimes.

i'll let this thread die soon.

YouTube- Carrie Underwood - How Great Thou Art

YouTube- Alan Jackson-Blessed Assurance

YouTube- Alan Jackson - In The Garden LIVE

It should let you hear the full song at least once.

Great choice.

And the new version of Exile is coming out with six (?) new tracks.

Mick will be on Larry King tonight.

Keith said they had to bake some tapes in the oven to keep the old oxide from scraping off or something like that. I don't like getting drunk so much any more, but I would do it to "Exile".

Lucifer, you should get drunk often. Just sayin.

LOL. I saw the Larry King interview tonight. Pretty interesting.

Right now I'm all into listening to Voodoo Lounge.

Is anyone familiar with Ellwood? He covered Gordon Lightfoot's 'Sundown' and it's most excellente! However, I have a hard time finding him anymore. On my ipod, but I am deficient in importing that here.....can that be done?

Exile on main Street is not a "Feel Good" experience. Neither is being drunk.

OK, Lucifer. I understand. Sorry to have upset you; I was just having fun, but I won't do that again.

If anything was upsetting it was that awful remake of Killing Me Softly.
