As much as I love the 90s, there was some exceptional music, you can't beat the 70s. Most of the 60s bands' best music was in the 70s.

First impressions from limited sampling:
I could listen to Manchester, but compared to SSPU, they are too punky (not that I don't like punk) and the vocals are too kermit-the-frog-like. The guitar work lacks the clear lucid articulation you get with SSPU. Brian Aubert (from ss pickups) has a right hand like no one else. Jayhawks OK easy listening I could tolerate. Bob Mould, more punk, been there done that. SSPU, mutated offspring of consummation between Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, and My Bloody Valentine, and Primal Scream. With sonic bliss like this, who needs heaven?

Interesting, if you go to danger bird's website Silver Sun's label, there are some bands that are awesome Minus the Bear and Sea Wolf are very good.

Gone Till November by Wyclef Jean. Our son-in-law finished his Ph.D. at GA Tech and got his dream job at NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab at Cal Tech. They will be leaving next Saturday. They are coming to visit today. They will be gone until November (or maybe December). Bittersweet. So I'm listening to this song just like I did when our daughter left for MIT after high school.
