Thanksgiving & Mono

Would you have reservations about having Thanksgiving dinner at someone's house where a family member is recovering from mononucleosis?

I honestly think I might.

The thing is, it's MY son who has mono and WE are hosting dinner this year. It's no secret - we've told everyone. Over 20 people are invited. So far, no one has expressed concern YET, but also no one has offered to have it at their home.

Just curious about your thoughts.

Watch out for H1N1 - expect an increase with folks traveling over the holidays.

No, but I might be concerned with your son's weakened state he might catch something from someone else.
