I love It's A Wonderful Life- my husband and I both end up crying at the end, no matter how many times we see it.
Another one (that seems kind of strange to me) is Love, Actually- not so much because of the Christmas background but I love all of the British actors and the music.

YouTube- Miracle On 34th Street (Colour) - Trailer
Love this movie, but it has to be the one with Natalie Wood.

last year I finally realized and admitted out loud that I am not a fan of Its a Wonderful Life (I know - don't ask - I just do not enjoy watching it). But we love a Christmas Carol! the version with Patrick Stewart. also the version starring Albert Finney. Scrooged is a good one too.
I adore Rudolph, Charlie Brown Christmas, Frosty and all the other classics. A christmas story has become one of those classics.
One of our absolute favorites is the Grinch. Both original and recent movie with Jim Carrey.
One of my recent favorites is Elf.
A christmas movie /drama I really enjoy is The Family Stone with Diane Keaton, Luke Wilson, Rachel McAdams and several others.

I enjoy watching all the Christmas Carol versions, with my favorite being the 1938 version.

I was very disappointed by the "Family Stone" - mostly because the ads made it seem like a comedy, not a tearjerker. (Plus I don't like SJP that much).
Love the Holiday! Don't really think of it as a Christmas movie, but it is hilarious!

We rented "Four Christmases" from the Redbox. It was just barely an "eh."
Vince Vaughn was the only character who saved it & made it tolerable. Sorry, this is a thread about favorite Christmas movies but just thought I'd warn you.

Yes! It's a Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th St (original), Love Actually, A Christmas Story, The Grinch Who Stole Christmas and Charlie Brown Christmas! I liked Family Stone and The Holiday, too.
