It's been a tough year for the area's investulators--this year their houses were so far underwater, that the fish didn't have eyes.

Of course, we still mourn Grandma's demise when she was hit in the head by one of those d**n tents that was left on the beach this summer by those @#!* tourists. However, we felt some consolation when Cousin Jimmy took a Rolex out of their cooler.

The Tupelo Street neighbors had an intervention for Miss Gulch and her dog! It's uncertain if it took yet, but there is hope.

We thought our intervention for Uncle Hnooe's Sowal addiction was successful, but he just replaced it with a stronger Facecrack habit.

On a brighter note, SWGB reached 10,000 posts early in the year. I think it was about that time that his name got shortened to SWGB....thank goodness, so much easier to type.

There was a whole lot of hoopla about the innauguration. Much more pleasant than the election. :shock: George W. Bush moved into Kitty's neighborhood. I think she's hanging out with him these days. She doesn't call, she doesn't write. :shock: Maybe she and Laura are busy shopping at Vera Bradley.

Lynnie~~who is she again?~~ became the year's newest posting ho. Coincidentally, she drives a HO..................

And, we made it through the worst economy of most of our lives! I drank a lot mo wine this year to hep me through! Seems I remember some sowal children marriages and new babies.
