Hatz German diesel engine, Moto Guzzi bike frame.

Yes, it's environmentally friendly, but that noise was just idling. How loud is it when it's driving down the street?

They had it at the Nature Fest at Seaside - not running, but looked pretty cool to me!

Once you get it in gear it runs pretty smooth.

I passed a bio-diesel car a month or so ago. I was stuck in traffic near it but was not aware of being near a bio-diesel vehicle. I noted several times to Mrs. SC that I could smell french fries. When we finally passed it, I had my "a-ha!" moment. The exhaust really does smell like McDonald's french fries... :drool:
