Miznotebook, I haven't seem them for the last two weeks due to the Olympics.....do I need to catch up?
I think they have been reruns, so you've probably already seen those episodes. Can't remember what the one two weeks ago was about, the one last week was about the kite contest and Sheldon teaching Leonard about football.

Between 'coitis' and 'wings,' the last two weeks have had me rolling!

I was hooked once I heard my new favorite character say "My mother likes EYEtalian food because that's what the Romans made Jesus eat."
Last night was hilarious - especially the yogurt and the wings!

I agree - Monday's episode was highly amusing. The whole yogurt thing was too funny.

Sheldon:
"I'm polymerized tree sap and you're an inorganic adhesive, so whatever verbal projectile you launch in my direction is reflected off of me, returns to its original trajectory and adheres to you."
"Allegiance to male comrades before women who sell their bodies for money."
"I believe the appropriate metaphor here involves a river of excrement and a Native American water vessel without any means of propulsion."
"You have about as much chance of going out with Penny as the Hubble Telescope has of finding that at the center of each black hole there's a little man with a flashlight trying to find the circuit breaker."
"I have a lady friend who will be staying with me for a few days. I want her to feel at home; I also bought scented soaps, pantyhose, Midol, calcium chews, and what is apparently a yogurt specifically designed to regulate the female bowel."
Raj: I'll tell you what, how about we go rock-paper-scissors?
Sheldon: Eww, I don't think so. Anecdotal evidence suggests that in the game of rock-paper-scissors, players familiar with each other tie 75-80% of the time due to the limited number of outcomes. I suggest "rock-paper-scissors-lizard-Spock" It's very simple. Scissors cuts paper, paper covers rock, rock crushes lizard, lizard poisons Spock, Spock smashes scissors, scissors decapitates lizard, lizard eats paper, paper disproves Spock, Spock vaporizes rock, and?as it always has?rock crushes scissors.
Wolowitz: How's it feel to get beaten up by a girl?
Sheldon: It's not the first time. I have a twin sister whose assaults began in utero. If only I'd had the presence of mind to absorb her. Then I'd have a mole with hair in it, instead of a tedious yearly Christmas letter.
Sheldon: I can't give a speech.
Wolowitz: No, you're mistaken. You give speeches all the time. What you can't do is shut up.
Raj: Before the movie, you did twenty minutes on why guacamole turns brown. It turned brown while you were talking.
Leonard: When we watch Frosty the Snowman
, he roots for the sun.
Sheldon: Excuse me, but the sun is essential for all life on earth. Frosty is merely a bit of frozen, supernatural ephemera in a stolen hat. A crime, by the way, for which he is never brought to account.
Raj (after watching football): The only thing I've learned in the last two hours is that American men love drinking beer, pee too often, and have trouble getting erections.
Leonard: Focus on the game, not the commercials, Raj.
Raj: I'm just saying, maybe if you people cut back on the beer, you could get out of the bathroom and satisfy your women without pharmaceutical help.
Raj: I'm going to be deported, sent home in disgrace, exposed to the sardonic barbs of my cousin Sanjay, or as you may know him, Dave from AT&T

Wolowitz [to Raj]: Yes, she's pushy, and yes, he's whipped, but that's not the expression

Three roommate barriers!

I thought it was funny, but what was the point of the 15 second Penny flashback?
Do you think Sheldon knew she was a spy (I think there may be a method to his madness) or do you think he was just being Sheldon?

Probably both. Afterall, he's off the charts intelligent, although I don't suspect him of personal sensitivities.... i.e. intuition/gut feeling, etc.

SoWal Expert
I want to see the full copy of the infamous "roommate agreement"!

I know. Makes you curious even though you know going into it, he will completely wear you out! OMG! I'm Leonard!!

"It must never be flown upside down, unless the apartment is in peril."
Wthe "experiment" started smoking and Sheldon turned the refrigerator flag upside down, I thought I'd die laughing.

And, after the explosion, he turned the 3" square flag, right side up!
I had no idea that's what happened to the elevator, though!

Which is so Sheldon - he used a centuries old maritime tradition/current US Flag Code for the Apartment flag!

I didnt see the whole episode ...what did happen to the elevator?????

OMC - I hope someone youtubes that for you! It pretty much ties in the entire episode from the roommate barriers to the flag to why the elevator has never worked on the show! And, it certainly does give Sheldon the credibility he claims!
