New oil bill file in Florida Senate late last night
Senate Bill 2622 filed late last night. Find it at flsenate.org search sb2622. Allows drilling from beach to 10 mile mark with easements to shore. If it passes senate, house passed similar one last year so likely would go to Gov. Christ's desk and into law July 2010.

I second that Kurt - thanks Dave for leading the way and for all of your hard work.
As a new home owner in the area I want to also thank the forum for getting the word out. My husband and I got to participate in HATS and also wrote our elected officials. My husband and I are thrilled to be here.
Thanks again!!
