I miss Kimmifunn!!!!

Built in 1990, all brick Georgian on Signal Mtn. Fortunately the old owners totally remodeled the kitchen with Thermador and Kraftmade. We are gonna gut and redo / totally rework the master bath. Install more hardwood, connect and open up a couple of rooms and arch some doorways, recarpet in a couple of places. Other than that the house is perfect :lol:

i saw a show on a&e's city confidential about some murders in chattanooga (i'm sure i spelled that wrong) at someplace called the blue hole on signal mountain - seen that program before ?

It does have a good view but not on a brow or anything like that. Just lots of treetops.

Not too close to my house. Signal and Suck Creek (yes I typed suck creek) Mtns join together and that is where the murders were. It amazes me that people get so friggin wierd about somebody walking on their property. That idiot patrolled the boarders of his property (several acres) dailey with a shot gun. Why do people get like that. :idontno:

i would have personally posted it as no trespassing just for the fact that if someone got hurt or drowned up there swimming - who's the first person they're gonna sue ?? that's right, the property owner. it would be different if this society wasn't so sue-happy, but it seems like everyone wants to get rich quick, and suing is an easy way to do it.

Believe me I understand all that. But this guy went way to far. He was known to shot at people who were not on his property just property he felt the need to protect. He is now in the pokey for life.

yeah i got the distinct impression he was a few fries short of a happy meal...seemed to me he was just being a mean old man, writing people's names in his little notebook etc. that would be too much like work for me 😀

Posting a No Trespassing sign does not stop remove the owner's responsibility and liability. I know of a guy in my rural home town who use to sit on the porch with his shotgun and on occasion, he would stand up and fire a couple of shots into the air when a car would pass. Anyone who knew of him, knew enough not to screw with him or trespass on his property.

Just last week, there was a national news story of a man who called 911, and they released the tape of him admitting that he just killed a boy (15 yr old) who had been giving him a hard time for the last 5 years. The boy came onto his property, so the man shot and "killed him dead." In no way do I think this man had all of his screws, but I guarantee you that if he does not spend the rest of his life in jail, no kid will be taunting him again. The man told the 911 operator that they could come get the boy, he was in the yard. :blink:

Yep, but it sounds like a little more was involved in their history, with some taunting of the man by this particular kid and several others. No reason to kill someone, but not just a one-time thing either.

I hope she is missing because she is working so much this weekend. :(
