I have not been on here in a while. I'm so busy trying to get ready for a huge garage sale this weekend and the "BIG" move to SoWal (BLB). It looks like I'll be moving on 3/27. YEAH!!!! Can't wait!!!! See everybody soon even though I don't know what ya'll look like!!!!!!!!! I'm soooo excited and cannot believe I am actually doing it. I sure hope I can get to know some of ya'll and be friends since I really don't know anyone there. I'm moving there b/c I am miserable where I am and absolutely loved SoWal the three times I visited. The last time was for 30 days and it was so calming to me. Ya'll take care and I'll see you all soon. The very excited Brenda.

Not sure if arriving in the midst of spring break will provide you with the same "calming" experience of your earlier visit. . .

My Move for Spring
Yes, I am sure there will be many people there at that time, but unfortunately I could not get there any sooner. It is tuff packing up a house and selling much of your stuff which you have collected over the past 25 years or so. I have having a huge garage sale on Fri. and Sat. I mean it has been a lot of work and I hate garage sales but I can't just throw my things away. I also want to get down there and start my business If anyone knows anybody that need a pet sitter (I had a successful business here for 16 years) I will need to start working hopefully shortly after I arrive. I also want to be a companion to the elderly when they have to be left alone. I really could use some help in finding some people that need my services so if you know anyone. I do have experience with the elderly and I am very personable and like to talk so they would probably enjoy my company. I have a litle dog they would probably love to visit them to. Please let me know. Brenda

We'll just have to meet - being that we are from Baton Rouge and all that and are moving into our new home right around same time (spring break - lovely!!)

Good luck with your move and your job efforts! I, too, moved here almost two years ago (It's been that long?:shock I fell in love with the area and schemed my move for 3 years. It helped that I have family and lots of friends here

That sounds like what I am doing. I had a garage sale today and will be having it again tomorrow. I am renting my home here though instead of selling and renting one there also. I don't have any family and really don't know hardly anyone there except for people like you that I have met on line here. I have had a lot of faith in all of this. I also will be starting a new business and am moving on a wing and a prayer I keep saying. Thanks for your response and I hope we get to meet. Brenda

Oh I wish I were there now. Two weeks sounds like such a long time when you are really anxious to be somewhere else. I'll just love it that much more and it appreciate it much more for waiting so long to get there. Besides the house I am renting is not quite finished being renovated, but should be within the next week. Thanks for writing and I hope I get to meet everyone I've talked to on here. Brenda
