The Republican National Committee dropped $1,946 at Voyeur, a strip club in West Hollywood, CA.

What do you think?

  • Abby Hillary Media Clerk
  • "Damn. Boners and pleated Dockers do not an appealing image evoke."

  • Nienkerk Systems Analyst
  • "They could have saved a lot of money if they came to my strip club, Wispers. We have Republican night every Wednesday."

  • Anthony Yacyshyn Rubber Goods Binder
  • "How much of that was for Sarah Palin’s clear heels?"

Hey, how about all the $$$ spent by the Dems and their families when they went to the Global Warming Meeting along with their leader Obama. some of those nightly hotel rooms fees could have fed a family of 4 for a month. Didn't hear any loud objections to those spendings.

True and the Republicans didn't have much to say either. I guess they must have been wearing their ball gags at the time.:floor:

You see a comparison to one party going to a Global Warming Conference and a party spending money at a strip club?

There's no comparison - with the club, they only spent $1950 of RNC funds, which was returned, according to the reports I've read. Pelosi and her globe trotting pals spent over half a million of taxpayers money on travel, five star hotels, and food, which has not been paid back.

Do you really want to go down that road of which parties leadership spends the most money on travel? ;-)

Which party spends more of taxpayer money? sure. That sort of a side conversation though. I was criticizing Pelosi specifically, for spending hundreds of thousands during an economic downturn for a plushy trip. I don't see how anyone would not find that irresponsible.

Well, it depends on how many republicans and how many strippers there were. They might have gotten a group rate.

Silly rabbits. This isn't news because of the amount of money. This is news because the republican party is typically associated with "family values" and religion.

I personally could not care less that they have human desires and impulses like everyone else.

So based on your statement, I guess you would have been ok with her plushy trip during an economic boom.....

I'm much more worried about the Billions in fraud and the deficit of Trillions. Who hasn't been to a strip club?

A GOP supporter pulled themselves away from the M4M ads on craigslist to post this:

Truth about RNC "strip club" Voyeur

For Voyeur on the night that they went, it has girls wearing pasties or other nipple coverage, and spankies or shorts, or thongs with stockings, crawling around the suspended net. In the booths they do old style strip tease, but down to lingerie.

I'm just having a difficult time visualizing The Penguin and Rove wearing these......

Those crazy repubs.......;-)

And it all started w/ Palin wearing black leather at a rally!

WASHINGTON - The best thing the Republican Party can say about this week is, it's nearly over.First came news that the Republican National Committee paid $1,946 for a gathering at a sex-themed Hollywood club, which a group of young Republicans had visited without RNC approval. The money is to be paid back.

Now it turns out the RNC inadvertently listed a phone-sex number on a fundraising letter sent to potential donors. People who tried to call the committee were instead offered "live, one-on-one talk with a nasty girl" for $2.99 a minute.

RNC spokesman Doug Heye said a typographical error caused the letter to contain a toll-free 800 number rather than Washington's 202 area code. He confirmed details of the letter, first reported by the Politico news Web site.

The leaders of the Republican party need to learn about ball gags. They would make great foot substitutes.
