I am happy to announce that sarafunn has been accepted into all three graduate programs she applied for!!! Her family is very proud of her. :wub:

Hopefully, she will tell us the details...or give me permission to do so!

Look out Austin here comes Kittybaby! I LOVE that city. I rather enjoyed San Antonio as well. But dang it was so hot I thought my shoes would melt on the asphalt...maybe it was the asphalt melting.

Anyway good luck there Sarafunn and what will you be studying. Do we have a lawyer, teacher, chemist or business grad in our midst? I know from Mommakitty that it's not math. Eewww my daughter hated the math in her masters program. 😱

She can't go to LA...Nick would be hitting on her and she will be studying!!

I finally spoke with her this morning. She is really pumped! She will be heading down to Austin to check out apts. soon. I think this time she will make sure she gets one with a dishwasher!!!

How is the house hunting coming along??? keep us informed!!!! you Pres Pro Temp!!!!!...how long do you expect to be there??

Alifunn: thanks for asking. House hunting in Memphis begins this weekend. I'm eyedeep in getting the NY house ready for sale (my loving husband kept denying we needed to do anything...of course we did need to paint the trim...fix driveway...argh!)

I'm excited about Memphis--we'll live in the city (empty nesters now...daughter got into a good liberal arts college in central NY State--raise the flag and praise the lord!!!)
For me, Rhodes is a wonderful school with great people to work with and excellent students. But getting from here to there for July 1 is a lot of work. (I hate getting one's house ready to move; we're not slobs but the house every day has to look like no one lives there.)
