Not so sure about that. I just saw a story in USA Today where they said that the Colorado State forcast was within 2 storms about half the time, over and under the other half. Just depends on what year you're looking at. They were, fortunately for us, over-predicting last year.

It's an indication that it will be a Disney hurricane year. Either it means they'll hit there or they'll be dropping unicorns and rainbows instead of rain and wind.

Both mine and my husband's name are included this year. We have a little wager on which one will be worse. I can tell you from personal experience that Lisa will be kind and considerate. But Alex may be hell on wheels!!

We're planning new impact glass windows as part of a minor remuddle, and hopefully we'll get them in before August when the Gulf typically starts to get a little rumbly.

Make sure that you have your Hurricane Plan in place....could be an interesting season....

It's going to be interesting when BP tries to attribute oil landfall to a tropical system or the cancellation of reservations. At least most tourists know that an active hurricane season doesn't mean you rush out and cancel your plans.
