The Kittys made it to the beach! Jfunn left us a surprise on our doorstep...our own handmade SoWal.com koozies (and enough stickers to start sowalling the area!) :wub: Then, just after unloading the car, there was a knock on the door and who should appear??? Jfunn, Mermaid and Merman!!! Now, that's the way to arrive! I had met the Mers last Oct. and they are just as darling as I remembered! Meeting Jfunn was so funn, although I felt like I was greeting an old friend!!! She is adorable! We walked over to the Beach Club and reopened the bar long enough to share a brewski and some laughs. More to come....rumor has it we will be kayaking later today with SJ!!

P.S. This place is crazy crowded!!!

Oh that poor kitty. She hates water! 😱 Glad you guys made it here. Beautiful isn't it? Nice breeze tonight. Planning on going to ladies night Thurs at snapperheads. You gulls gonna be there?

This is not Miss Kitty but Mermaid, reporting in from a succesful kayakking trip! Someone fell in twice and it wasn't the gull with fins. Not once but twice. Coming and going. I'll give you a hint: think whiskers. :lol:

I swear I don't even know how it happened!!! #1 dunk...I was just sitting there and next thing I know I was underwater and the kayak was upside down!!! Thank goodness SJ was right there to help me figure out how I was going to get back in!!! The water was actually quite refreshing...but, I did swallow some of Western Lake!!! #2 dunk...after getting back in the kayak from Grayton State park, there I went again...that's when I panicked (I could touch bottom) ...I had just seen the ALLIGATOR SIGN!!! Can't wait to do it again....kayak, not dunk myself! Mermaid was brilliant on the water...she was SO happy to be kayaking, it made me smile!

:lolabove: ...jdarg tells me I won the Gold Medal yesterday! Mermaid did take pics, but I don't know if she is any better at down/uploading than I am!!!
