The Betty White lovefest reached its pinnacle this week, as the octogenarian comedienne promoted her hosting appearance tomorrow on ?Saturday Night Live.? White starred in several funny promo spots for the show, and last night stopped by the ?Late Night? studios to play beer pong with Jimmy Fallon.
After all this hype, we hope ?SNL? writers give White killer material (unlike the meager sketches they gave previous host Gabourey Sidibe); she certainly deserves it. Here?s some video clips from her media blitz, along with vintage footage of White with Johnny Carson.

:funn:OMG - it was hilarious!! or maybe I was so tired I was giddy, but the muffin skit had me in tears! It was along the lines of Alec Baldwin's shwety balls skit...

Absolutely amazing performance. And only 88 1/2 years old!

IMO, the best SNL in many years, though I haven't been a religious follower for the past 3-4yrs....

She rocked the house and put a new spin on Muffins...
