Warm cobbler with Blue Bell icecream melting on top. I am picking blackberries like crazy now and have made two cobblers this week. I feel fat.

I don't usually do desserts, but IF and WHEN I do, I like warm chocolatey things and sticky warm toffee things...Fire has both of these

So far, no one's named anything I don't love. The blackberry cobbler sounds divine.

chocolaty, creamy, not so much a fruity person, but I do love the fresh blackberries! Anything chocolate and like Allifunn, anything warm! YUM

The pecan/coconut pie at Cafe Tango and the bread pudding at The Smiling Fish Cafe...and that's just Sowal. MANgo discovered snickers cheese cake at Publix, too. In New York, you can't beat our Italian pastries.

Currently our favorite is The Pioneer Woman Cooks - Ree Drummond . It was served at a wedding shower given in honor of our daughter's upcoming wedding. It was covered with mixed fruits (strawberries, pineapple, grapes, etc.) and tasted absolutely divine.

my mom used to make this amazing dessert: meringue layers (like cake layers) with whipped cream and fresh peaches & strawberries layered in the middle and top...it was heaven!

I actually love angel food cake! (it is really good with lemon curd on top)

Banana cake, Lemon meringue pie and Key lime pie. The banana cake has to be cold though so the frosting is hard.

a rich chocolate sheath cake with homemade cooked chocolate pecan frosting served warm with blue bell vanilla on the side; banana nut cake, fresh apple pecan cake, peanut butter pie, and chocolate fudge.... there are many more that I love but those are my favorites and my Deda makes most of them!

my that sounds good, I'm gonna have to look for pineapple cake mix now! My aunt does a yummy cake with a yellow cake mix, strawberry frosting (that she makes) and then whip cream and fresh strawberries decorate the top-good stuff, too! I love, love love pineapple though!

Makes me think of banana split cake, I need to find that recipe and post it, great summer dessert!

homemade vanilla ice cream. my faaaav! blackberry cobbler and banana pudding (my mom's only) are up there too.

aggieb I make a mean banana pudding, too-cook it stove top from scratch on a double boiler and layer it up with bananas and nilla wafers, I can even whip up a meringue for the top!

Although cherry cobbler is the ultimate, the bread pudding at Cafe-30A still lingers in my memory although I haven't been there in such a dang long time.

i love my own (too much) traditional cheese cake with a huge graham cracker crust, i make a great almost flourless chocolate cake and hubby loves my pavlovas-meringue with whipped cream and fruit. but i'm coming down for memorial day so i'd better just dream about them and go for a walk.

I need some ideas for a fruity desert for a friend's birthday tomorrow. Having a dinner party so it should be easy.....pretty please. (I had a one heck of a long week.)

New favorite dessert!

I've ALWAYS loved Blackberry Cobbler and Key Lime Pie! But, I have a new, winner! I experienced The Great Southern Restaurant's Key Lime Pie, recently and was floored! They are in Seaside, in the old Shades location. It was sooo light and refreshing and totally satisfying! Actually, it was a great surprise! I asked for mine to go, but, ended up eating half of it, before I left!:roll: FYI, I had the Gouda Grits and Shrimp and my son had the Maple Glazed Duck(poor duck). All were incredible and our server, Kyle, was extremely attentive! If you ask for him, you'll be very pleased!
