glad i could provide some yuks for ya ! hope you get better soon. by the way ladies - since i got a new laptop for my bday - i lost my only form of exercise which was walking back and forth to the computer in the bedroom. now i can sit here and change tv channels, cross stitch a little, then sowal a little and start the cycle all over again. all without leaving my chair !!!

I watch Diane Sawyer- a class act IMHO. She has aged so gracefully- and is just plain "cool". Not to mention consistent.

...and she's a hometown girl. (Seneca High grad)

I was working an event once and met Shepard Smith. I got my picture taken with him. He chatted with us, we did Hottie Toddie and then he called my mom. She's obsessed and almost fell out. He wears tons and tons of makeup.


Were you aware that Shepard Smith used to live here? Well, not here as in SoWal, but he went to school in Fort Walton...and worked on either Channel 7 or 13 out of Panama City for a while. There's only one direct route from FWB to PC...

My impression of Ann Curry is that in interviews she appears to be fake nice with fake expressions on her face and intonations in her voice. She does a good job as a newscaster though.

It is official . . . it is Meredith. Just announced on the View. A great friend of my was a producer for the View several years ago. She always told me how kind Meredith was. Her stories of Star are not quite as nice. :shock:

That's so nice to hear, DT. There was a guy on the radio here in St. Louis this morning who said he has a close friend who worked with Katie Couric, and the person told him that what you see isn't what you get with Katie, which isn't the first time I'd heard that about her. So, maybe Meredith will continue to play nice and be a positive change there!
