OMG - some friends were talking about this show the other day and I was amazed at what they were telling me......literally, some very gross stuff! Then, I had to question them as to why they were actually watching it..........

No kidding. I lost (temporarily misplaced, mind you) a couple of rings this weekend and was told to look under the bed! AHG! Down feathers and dust! Scary!

i have a neighbor who sleeps in his car sometimes...never washes cars or mows grass....says everyone he's known has betrayed him...i suspect he is a mega-hoarder and there's no room to walk in his house.

This show is facinating to me. My sister is a mini-hoader and neighbor is a borderline hoader. They never throw anything away and continue to purchase items they do not need. This is a psychological disorder and the ones who want to change, go through an agonizing experience. It serves to remind me NOT to hold onto things that are not important. I, too, cannot stop catching the show when I can. Maybe I am becoming "hoader addicted".

After watching about 5 episodes of this last December I went to my 10X20 storage shed and got rid of nearly everything I had been holding on for the past 15 years. I consolidated all of that crap down to 6 rubber made containers and am now saving $100 a month.
