Florida Gov. Charlie Crist says it is ?very lonely? running as an Independent.

Since he quit his party, Crist says he has discovered that people he thought were friends turned out to be only Republican friends who dropped Crist after he left the GOP.

Crist has lost so many campaign staffers that his sister is now running his third-party effort.

?When you?re not affiliated with a party, it can be very lonely, particularly initially,? Crist told The Hill in an hourlong phone interview.

I still believe that Meek never had a real chance and that moderate Democrats will vote for Crist as the lesser of the two evils. That will be the catalyst for a Crist victory.

Looks more like the liberal dems will decide this one. Meek has turned into another Ralph Nadar.

I Disagree.

Liberal Dems will go with Meek regardless, just like the Radical Righties will go with Rubio because he is the Big Red Guy.

The moderate Dems will go with Crist if they believe Meek is toast. Notice when Meek's numbers fell like a lemming jumping?

Liberal Dems will do ANYTHING to prevent Rubio from winning--they (I) will bite their tongue and vote for Crist...lesser yes--evil, no.
