Silly Republicans

Log Cabin Republicans gave these out at Twin Cites Pride, telling the Advocate: "This one was such a no-brainer. With all the national attention with BP and the Gulf of Mexico and the suspension of any deep-water drilling, and Sarah Palin saying those words, it was like the planets coming into conjunction. What a great way to be in the spirit of pride."

I would expect those folks (Log Cabin Republicans) to turn an annual social advocacy event into a twisted, partisan proclaimation about oil. They will do anything to be liked by their fellow Teabaggers...That sentiment is like saying "go ahead and get drunk on alcohol, but just don't do something as untidy as throwing up...."

Please don't shoot the messenger, but ALL of the US does not have the same take on the Gulf oil spill as we do. Some need to badly broaden their scope and realize points of view in other parts of the nation are different than ours. And, oh by the way, they are entitled to them because they are Americans just like you and I are.

Uh, I think you're all missing the joke.

It's a condom.

Get it? Drill, don't spill?

Now, does anyone else find this tasteless?

Keep on drilling so the oil companies can add to the 2 BILLION barrells of oil that BP currently has in reserve. Of course we humans have diverse opinions, silly us. What Bob the Republican in Maine may feel about the oil spill will no doubt differ from what I feel, but I am in the midst of it. It is MY livihood, MY community that is being destroyed. It is everyone's GULF and so is the marine life. It is Bob in Maine who needs to think outside of the box.........idiots.

If only BP practiced safe drilling instead of spill abstinence!

Here's a solution to the spill I heard in a bar - have someone marry that well - then it will stop putting out!

Some need to realize that the oil gusher isn't only affecting the Gulf Coast, it will affect the entire country in one way or another. And they're entitled to be as close minded as they like, because they are Americans, just like you and I are.

Fortunately, I get the impression that there is deep concern from people all over the country.

I do. Put a blue dress on that gusher and it's as good as plugged.
