Bristol's mother, Sarah Palin, didn't know about the on-again relationship until it was revealed in a tabloid magazine.

Geo and Rita - how concerned are you that Bill Clinton, who did not have two nickels to rub together is now a multi-millionaire due to outrageous speaking fees, and monumental book deals that earned his millions? These are nothing but pay-offs for favors done while in power. How judgemental and self-righteous are you over this? Not much. In a free country a person is entitled to make as much money as possible. Do you actually begrudge this or are you simply jealous?

Hey, I have no prob with Bristol & Levi going for a Reality Show, which seems quite plausible that that is their goal. I don't watch "reality" TV anyway and it seems they could pull an audience, at least for a while. May as well put bacon on the table while they can.
I would be concerned about the baby, but I am sure they have given that the proper and careful thought needed.
The choice is theirs in the end. I don't care one way or the other.
As for Sarah gaming for "reality" TV - that might have the potential to affect me. In that case I would likely be happy if she did TV, if it was instead of the off chance she would be running our country instead.

Those glasses aren't a good match to Mr. Obama's face. It makes him look kind of dorky as my great grand child might say. It amazes me how folks can play around with pictures like that. Mr. Bob you did a good job with that picture. It almost looks real to me. Sometimes I get fooled looking at pictures because they have been so altered. Wish they could alter my pictures and give me back my youth. How about it Mr. Bob?
Grammy, if you put your face on a Botox IV drip and chugged fountain of youth water I don't think it would help with your appearance. That being said, I hope your next 100 years is as good as your first. You are an inspiration, and I think there should be an award named after you.

Looks like I need to make a mother-of-the-bride ensemble for my Sarah Palin refrigerator magnet dress-up set. She only came with camo, a hockey jersey, a nice suit for public appearances, a Napoleon Bonaparte costume, and a nice silver teapot dress. ;-)

Botox, if I was 15 years younger might give those shots a try. but my wrinkle folds are the permanent press kind and no amount of cold cream is going to smooth out these ditches. As to another 100 years, Honey, that would be a jail sentence for my mind. Once the body starts to shut down and you lose your freedom to go places and see things it means the only thing working is your mind and sometimes that even fails you. Some day in the future you will understand what I mean.

I think she is going to shake things up in this country and instead of that Bonaparte costume and that silver teapot dress, I think I want the doll set that has the Presidential Ball Gown and the Airforce 1 Flight Jacket. If I come across the newest Sarah set will let you know so your refrigerator door will be able to keep up with the times.

There are plenty of threads on SoWal & elsewhere that address Obama & his policies directly. This particular thread addresses Sarah Palin, the VP nominee in the last presidential election & the high-profile politician who possibly aspires to be our next president. She has inserted herself into national politics w/ a constant stream of criticisms aimed at the president, she has endorsed multiple candidates in various states.
You say, "we can save our Palin watching for the 2012 Campaign run." I disagree. Even though you & I have different worldviews, I'll bet you would contend that earlier attention to possible candidate Obama would have "exposed" him for what he truly is. So what this thread is really about is an attempt to expose Ms. Palin for what she truly is: poorly educated, poorly informed & hypocritical. I hope that the critical mass of data/info supporting this premise will keep her from even being considered as a viable candidate for any political office in the future.

Since you reminded us of Sarah Palin's political history and her failure to fulfil her term of office...I would like to remind you how Obama made it into political circles:
1995 he decides to run for Illinois Senate Seat...he wins because he is the only one left standing after he has his four competitor petitions invalidated .
In 2003 he decides to run for the State Senate, his main competitor Blair Huff in the primary was ahead in the polls, Obama and his supporters fought for Huff's sealed divorce records to be released and when they were his numbers dropped and Obama won the primary.
He now faced his general opponent Jack Ryan. Ryan had higher ratings than Obama...again Obama and his supporters went searching for dirt.. bingo another sealed divorce record, it worked once ..maybe it will work again.....they fought again to have Ryan's sealed divorce records unsealed...once unsealed Obama won. He was on his way to the big time...Washington DC.
2006 He arrived in Washington to serve a 4 year term, In 2007 he announces his decision to run for President. He spends much of his Senate term.out campaigning for President. He really wasn't a full time acting Senator, now was he? He also didn't finish his term of office either.
His whole presidential campaign was built around the following...
?A new kind of politics.?
?No personal attacks.?
?Post-Partisan politics.?
Did you see these being applied or used in his campaign? Hillary didn't stand a chance against the Obama Chicago gang, even with her Clinton expert team. Then after Hillary lost, the attacks began on John and Sarah. For the outspoken Palin, folks were sent to Alaska to dig up dirt. Even after Obama won, he and his supporters who still held a grudge, made Palin's life and her financial situation miserable. I think they might have seen that she could be trouble in 2012. I understand why she left her governorship, how can you do your job justice when you are trying to fight bogus lawsuits, dodge reporters trying to find dirt on you, and see your family smeared all over the place. I don't hold her walking away from the governorship against her at all. I think she might have seen a bigger calling...and is now fulfilling it. She is one tough cookie...she takes a hit and keeps going...

Uga, the sad thing was that it was out there...the main stream media chose to ignore it, the public didn't believe it, and now our Country and the American People have to "sleep in the bed that they made for four years without a change of sheets."
I don't think you can micro examine Palin with a tooth and comb like many of you are doing with out Obama popping into the thread...because you certainly gave Obama a pass. I think this big Palin examination you speak of for this thread, is only being done to share with each other Sarah put downs, and Palin jokes, and not for future information as you state. Go back and read the posts, they are personal attacks.
