Bristol Palin & Levi Johnston are engaged!

Bristol's mother, Sarah Palin, didn't know about the on-again relationship until it was revealed in a tabloid magazine.

That's at least twice Mama Grizzly didn't know where her cubs were.

Edgy Grammy Welcome!

Geo and Rita - how concerned are you that Bill Clinton, who did not have two nickels to rub together is now a multi-millionaire due to outrageous speaking fees, and monumental book deals that earned his millions? These are nothing but pay-offs for favors done while in power. How judgemental and self-righteous are you over this? Not much. In a free country a person is entitled to make as much money as possible. Do you actually begrudge this or are you simply jealous?

Bill can turn my water into wine and walk across my swimming pool anytime. After that I want to father his babies.

AND then he could go on TV, look directly into the camera, wag his finger and say in that gravely voice of his "I didn't make babies with that Lucifer!"
So unless you don't want to be disappointed, hurt and cheated on Lucifer, I suggest you forgo that last" breeding" wish. :sarc:

Too Good Not to Share:

Why Sarah Palin says all those stupid and ridiculous things. - By Jacob Weisberg - Slate Magazine

Since he used her sayings and quotes to line his own pockets:
This article is adapted from the introduction to Palinisms: The Accidental Wit & Wisdom of Sarah Palin (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt). ? Jacob Weisberg 2010......

I hope he included my favorite:
"President Obama doesn?t have the ?cojones? to protect America?s border with Mexico."

Since Sarah & EG seem to be experts about cojones, I'm sure they wouldn't mind if some male held forth with his theory that, say, "childbirth doesn't hurt that much; any of us guys could do it easy--no problem."

Check out this article Poppy....Todd's Got Balls and they aren't tucked away in any jar!

Brutally Honest: Palin's husband is no metrosexual

I'm really not that surprised liberal men are intimidated by a guy like Todd. I'm not surprised they're intimidated by his wife either.

Don't be confused, Shopper. Liberals fear that the populace is capable of electing someone who writes on her hands and who plays to her base by talking about who does/doesn't have balls and winks at the camera.

But no one is intimidated by her.

I always thought it was better to have a president that did his thinking with his brain, rather than other parts of his anatomy.

Sarah Palin does draw quite a crowd. Yesterday, Buckhead basically shut down for her rally to help Gov. Candidate, Karen Handel. I heard it was packed - I should have gone to keep up my political correctness of shaking hands with all of them, but I forgot. I do believe Karen Handel will win the primary today - huge news for a female to be on the Gubernatorial ticket in this State. I don't think she'll be a Presidential Candidate in 2012, but will continue in her present capacity........who knows? Anything can happen.

Why exactly would liberal men be intimidated by someone who isn't a metrosexual? :idontno:

Or were you so busy categorizing people to detract from ACTUAL issues that you decided all liberal men are metrosexuals.

My post was similar to the other posts here though, wouldn't you agree? I was just adding to the mix in kind. Nothing wrong with that.

I admit to being old and outdated regarding some facets of the world. What is a metrosexual?

Basically a straight guy who dresses well, grooms himself well, and has some culture.........................instead of a beer gut, a ratty shirt, and tickets to the next monster truck rally.

He's straight but has picked up what some would consider homosexual characteristics - but that most just consider good hygiene/taste.

Oh, shucks! You just ruined my day. I definitely fall into the "beer gut, ratty shirt and tickets to the next monster truck rally" catagory since I am now retired and really don't give a damn what others may think. Its nice to be self solvent.:D

No, your idea of ratty is some people's idea of "dress-up for church". :D

A lot of it is just a modern guy who has some of the standards your generation did as far as proper grooming and dress - polished shoes, handkerchief, ironed/pressed clothes etc.

Grow a mullet and then we'll talk! ;-)

Really?

I am a liberal man & I have no idea why you would say I might be intimidated by Ms. or Mr. Palin.

Do you think I'm afraid they might beat me up?

Should I be intimidated by their woodsman/woodswoman skills?

Should I be intimidated by their intelligence? By their commonsense & moral values?

Physical intimidation? Intellectual intimidation? Moral intimidation? Lifestyle intimidation?

What in the world are you talking about?

Ok, sorry. That wasn't directed at you ugabuga. In your case you're just obsessed with them. That's a little different than being intimidated, but still a little strange.

Allow me to have a little fun with this one (without regard to anyone's politics including my own)...

I'm pretty certain that Todd Palin can:

Drive a snowmobile faster than me, best me on the shooting range, kill more stuff than me, dress dead animals better, chop wood faster, catch bigger fish than me, etc. etc. etc.

And his wife is pretty hot.

But Bottom Line-
I'm pretty sure I could outdrink him and kick his ass.

Well, thanks for backing off on such a ridiculous charge.

I have to admit to your fallback position, however.

Yes, I'm obsessed with Sarah Palin! (hardly think of Todd at all, though).

I admit to being throughly flummoxed by her popularity & celebrity. It seems to me that she's largely ignorant of geo-politics, history, geography, science, the humanities...The fact that she could have been one heartbeat from becoming President of the United States scares the bejesus out of me. Every day in many ways she seems to illustrate that she's unfit & unsuited for high national office, & yet her statements & actions seem to make her even more popular. It's like a train wreck: horrible--yet I can't avert my eyes.
