Do you watch the credits at the end of a film?

Confessions of a Bitter-Ender: In Praise of Movie End Credits | Inside Movies

I have always stayed to "the bitter end" and been irritated at companions who jump up and run out before the last scene fades...in Clint Eastwood movies, some of the best music is during the credits!!..especially in True Crime.YouTube- ‪Why Should I Care‬‎

So, what do you all do?

I usually let them roll while I fix a snack in the kitchen. Especially comedies, they always seem to have those hidden out take gems at the end. :D

Yes, I watch them. The older movies have the credits at the beginning and the end. I miss that in the new movies.

YES! almost always stay to the "bitter end". Sometimes we have people trapped in who we must let out. Reminds me of church when we're finishing the closing song and people are just itching to get out and we're in the way.

I often like to see where scenes were filmed.

I like to stay for the credits; Mr. C jumps up as soon as the movie's over. I figure everyone who worked to make that movie happen deserves their "moment." And, like Rita, I like to see where scenes were filmed.

I watch the credits if I want to see who a certain actor/voice was or if they do some funny stuff or good music at the end. Other than that - no, just slowly collect coat & bag and head out.

I also don't read CD liner notes, watch TV credits, most book prologues & dedications, etc. ;-)

Credits are part of the film also. I run films to the end. If someone feels the need to leave, they leave in the dark. Lights up at end of credit roll.

Walking backwards up the crowded aisle as I leave, gives me time to read the credits. Usually there is an obscure bit actor that I want to identify or some really hot actress I'm not familiar with.

I do like to stay to the end. So often there is good information, music, interesting scenes plus it does seem more respectful to see who else worked on a film other than the big names.

I always stay till the last credit has rolled in.

I usually find that the reality of having drank a large beverage and sat very still in the theatre for a couple of hours motivates me to exit as soon as the credits roll.

All the way to the end! Irritates me when the credits roll so fast I can't read them. I have a ball looking for interesting names I never heard of before. It's also interesting to see which movies have bazillions of people on the credits, and which ones have fewer.

Seriously - now imagine having to beat all the slowpokes to the women's room so you aren't in line for 1/2 an hour while they chat on their phones in the stall!

Now that more and more theaters have gone digital, they need to have LCD displays in the bathrooms so you can get up any time during the film and relieve yourself without missing anything.

I vote for cell phone signal blockers before LCDs in the bathroom (shared by many films). Pretty sad that people can't even watch a movie without texting or Facebooking and distracting other moviegoers.

I love the movies that have bloopers and outtakes or hidden messages at the end!
