Tillman cover-up general promoted
The "liberal" media bought into this story hook, line and sinker.
FWIW, John Reed is an Army ranger & Vietnam vet.
Wouldn't it be ironic if a movie about an American military icon doesn't make a local theater?

Ugly stuff happens in war. Its just the nature of the beast. I'd be surprised if we've ever had a war that didn't have casualties from friendly fire.
Its a shame that anyone felt the need for a coverup because in today's world its going to get out.

Friendly fire is the most unfortunate thing to happen in war. The technology we have today is amazing, but it's still controlled by human beings, and sometimes they make the wrong decisions based on the data at hand.

Friendly fire I can accept.
The lies from the Bush administration and Army brass not as much.
Obama and McCain both voted to confirm McCrystal as 4 star general so everyone shares the blame IMO.

Bush is long gone, his supporters have reconciled any decisions he's made.
You however still have the opportunity to implicate or vindicate Obama's decisions. I wonder which you'll choose?

I'm OK with Obama firing McCrystal.
I don't like his Afghanistan policy but at least he's ending one war.
