omg I saw this and thought for sure you were talking about the little glowing purplish blue dots on the beach Saturday night.... did anyone else see these after sunset when it was completely dark... I was walking along the beach from Seagrove to Grayton... there were thousands of them.. just along the shorline... carried home a handful and louped them under my jewelers's loupe.. omg they looked like krill????
