One to go to Wal-Mart and buy a lightbulb (and a gun because he?s going to the store anyway), one to scoff at global climate change, one to draw a rally poster making fun of Al Gore, one to complain about the socialist conspiracy to bring light to all Americans, one to change the bulb, and 10 million to sit in the dark even though the light is on.

What is wrong with guns? It is a Constitutional right to bear arms....are you making fun of the founding fathers as well??

there's nothing wrong with firearms, but ownership unfortunately falls into the right, not privilege category. i believe anyone wanting to wield guns must demonstrate proficiency in handling,shooting,safety.

Boaters safety courses should be mandatory before any rental (ie. jet skis and pontoon boats),as these rentals put the safety of individuals not familiar with waterway hazards or navigation in danger....it also puts innocent people at danger not affiliated with the rental.........but this is another whole can of wurms I just opened.

I was required to take boater's safety classes and gun safety lessons before I could drive a motor boat or shoot a gun. Don't have a problem with others having to do the same - in fact I think it should be required.

I have an issue with mentally deranged people or convicted felons owning any type of weaponry that can easily be used to kill multiple people.

Yes, you can kill or harm others in a wide variety of ways if you are truly determined to do so - guns (especially certain kinds) just make it way too easy IMO.

Make fun of the Tea Party folks all you want...it will not change a thing. The movement is bigger than you gave it credit for. They are making a difference. You might not agree with their opinions,or what they represent, but they are standing up for what they believe and are fighting back with their votes...so laugh, and poke your fun, but it will not matter...the American people along with the Tea Party Folks will take back their country and we will REMOVE those in Washington that are trying to destroy our country. Even if we have to do it "one lighbulb" at a time.
