The case of the Black Panther intimidation case was dismissed by the Obama administration for undislosed reasons,so,should voters arm themselves for protection since the administration deems this a safe polling place?
Wonder what Eric Holder would have done if it had been white hooded thugs with bats threatening black voters?

Let 'em come - I'm not scared of black people so it won't affect my vote.

Walk, is your racism recent or do you just feel like you can be more overt about it now?

Where's the plaintiff in this case? Don't you have to have someone who says they were prevented from voting (or so threatened that they did not vote) in order to have a case?

One would think so. Do I get to call the Sheriff on November 2nd and have those Tea Party people at the polls arrested? I feel threatened by stupidity.

I think you better settle down and back off. You are starting to get nasty and way to involved in passing your agenda. I think we all understand where you are coming from. I don't think Kurt wants you to try and start something ugly.

Racism has been used soo much, that most people truly DO NOT KNOW what REAL racism is.
Answer me this, what would have been done if white hooded men were guarding polling places?? I see a double standard NOT RACISM.Give it a rest, you have no clue about real racism, just an easy word to use to light a fuse.:nono1:

omc that shouldn't be funny, but it is so spot on it's hilarious!
It's like a lot of Onion articles though - the headline is enough (and better than the article) except for this expression, which I must remember:
"Fox News shoutcasters" .... bwahahaha..

Thanks Poppy!

Well if you wanted to be fair and balanced you would have mentioned the state troopers stationed at polling places that were primarily African American during the 2000 election.

I didn't see any voters getting intimidated in that video. The mere presence of the KKK evokes feelings of racism, bigotry, hatred and intimidation. I can't say that about these two guys. I wouldn't have thought much of it. I think media guy sort of provoked a situation. He needs to go back to Penn State and take some more communications courses.

So, someone help me out here. Why is there a guy outside the polling station with a night stick?

Let's meet in the middle-
Let's agree that there were a few thugs that made some folks feel threatened in every election on both sides. And that the effect of said influences on the outcome of our elections is less than hanging chads. And that since this nonsense happens on both sides that each side cancels the other out.
There- talk of troopers and panthers at polling places is now a moot point.

I don't see any voter intimidation there either. You're deviating from your topic about intimidation at the polls. Are your posts just some sort of hail Mary passes designed to get you some desperately need attention? Sadly, I believe so...

I quit posting on this thread for awhile hoping some semblance of decency would come about but with posts like this, I see my hopes were in vain. Therefore, I shall return to your type of post, when required, and be just as unfriendly, nasty and stupid as you are. It seems to be the only thing some here understand and accept. It is really too bad as it is obvious that most of the posters are intelligent, thoughtful and insightful people. Not true of all, I might add.

Black panthers, state troopers, Tea party idiots, you name it are not going to keep me from voting. If they make an unlikely appearance, I have the Sheriff on speed dial and am not timid.
Does anyone have a valid concern about intimidation at Sowal polling locations?
My only major issue is how close signs and groups are to the entrance of the polling place.
