I have hung up on 12 robo calls so far today.
My favorite "caller id" didn't have numbers just said
"VERY IMPORTANT"

Let me know if you top 12:D

Make that 13

Land line?
Yep
Do you know how to block political calls on land lines? I don't have a clue. They are the only advertisement "stuff" I get.

I wish that I did know how to block them. I lost track of the number that I received today, but I just got another one while I was typing this.:(

Apparently politics is exempt from telemarketing laws - go figure.

I was wondering the same thing. When they put together that 'do not call list' bill a few years ago, we probably should have demanded political action calls be excluded too. (Although I doubt even if we had that language would have made it into the final bill!)

Somehow they got my cell number, so I've been getting a double whammy. Between the phone calls and the mailbox stuffed with mud, I don't ever remember it being this bad. What is wrong with these people??? I am dreading tomorrow, that I actually have to vote for any of them.

I feel totally left out. Lots in the mail box but only two calls in the last week. Its pure hell to be ignored.

Campaign calls help me decide who NOT to vote for
Such wasteful spending.

I hook the land line up to a fax machine during times like this....and, turn the ringer volume down. People who know me, know which number to dial.
