Former President Reminisces On Luxuries Of America's Highest Office
POSTED: 3:56 pm EST November 13, 2010THE VILLAGES, Fla. -- Former President George W. Bush doesn't miss much about the White House. But he does miss the pampering.
In a rally Saturday at the sprawling central Florida retirement community known as The Villages, Bush reminisced about the luxuries of America's highest office, including Air Force One and never waiting in traffic jams.
He said: "I really don't miss much about the presidency. I miss being pampered."
Bush said he also misses being commander in chief of the military.

Who wouldn't miss all the pampering and the perks of the White House? I think all ex-presidents feel the same way.

You better do a litte research my friend on your Obama...he causes lots of traffic jams, and loves being pampered...how many times did he use that plane to campaign for his fellow Democrats, how much did this failed "get Jobs" ten day trip cost the American Taxpayer? He even flies with his own chef...afraid he might be poisoned. How much did that night out with his wifey in NY, where streets, restaurants, and Broadway had to be shut down cost us so he could be pampered? (not to mention the traffic jams it caused ) And as far as war goes, check out the Drone program that he is using...he might not claim it but it is under his watch....and BTW, how many attacks after 911 did America have under Bush, and how many have almost happened, did happen under your mild mannered Obama. Give me Bush any time.
Face it, you hate Bush, He could say I like the warm Florida sun that shines down on Walton Beaches, and you could find something bad about that statement.

So far Bush has been a perfect ex-president. He keeps his mouth shut about is successor and the issues. Carter and Clinton should take lessons.

remember in 2000 when the CLINtons wouldn't LEAVE Washington during the inauguration. They had a big party (with press coverage) at the same time everything else was happening. SOOOO TACKY.

Yeah, all that work with Habitat for Humanity and fund raising for various disasters, SOOOO TACKY.
Bush has gone back to being an uber wealthy private citizen. I'm betting even if he wanted to the RNC wouldn't be inviting him to fund raisers. In fact I'm sure they won't mention his name until he's dead and they try to rename the world ala Ronald Reagan.

I think all the work for Habitat for Humanity is Jimmy Carter. I think low class and no morals is Bill Clinton.
