2010 ornament exchange

:clap:My secret SoWaller is the BEST!! Kathydwells, thank you!!!

I absolutely love my many shell ornaments. I went immediately upstairs and found a small tree to hang to dispaly them properly. Great idea. The glass jar filled with shells is on my dresser so I can go to sleep and wake up thinking of great memories!

Everyone will be jealous of my ornaments!!! Thanks so much for the wonderful package!!! 😀

I am having trouble uploading the ornaments. Here is the glass vase filled with shells. The ornaments WILL follow!!

rita - glad you likey! we had funn!!!

DD - I saw that incredible tree in person and it is very special. I think it went to the perfect person. I would LOVE to try my hand at a tree next year so yes, we must do this again!

Meanwhile, 3 little wenches are preparing something very specially xmas tacky for SWGB to cheer him up. We'll have to get it finished and delivered soon.

It IS very special!!! I was so touched. It goes on my list of stuff I couldn't live without...along with lots of other special SoWal gifts.

Excellent job Darlene!!!!! Can't wait to see the rest!!!!

When I got into this I didn't realize the depth of the ornaments. I just hope someone is not disappointed. My ornament is hand made but nowhere near the scope of some of these I have seen. I designed the one from me and my wife made it and then I finished it. It fits in a small box but is very special. I hope that special person likes it.

:wub:Dear Kish, PLEASE do not worry!!! Tootsie and I just have too much time on our hands and LOVE to do crafts. Teresa's house is not right during the holidays if there is not glitter all over the place!

All the ornaments are special as are the ornament makers because we all love SoWal and enjoy each other. We are SO happy you were able to participate this year!! (due to some diligent posting on your part)
The main thing is, we all have a special memory made for us by one of our fellow SoWalers which will be cherished for years!!! That is what it is really all about  HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

KISH, your ornamentee will be thrilled! Some of us have a problem with knowing when to stop. Don't let that worry you one little bit. When it's from the heart, it's always special, no matter the size.

I received my ornament special delivery yesterday from the lovely and vivacious Scooterbug! Not only is the ornament beautiful and very personal, she made two amazing bracelets for my daughter! I absolutely love it Scooterbug! Thank you so much!😀

One side had Imy and I fishing, which is very special for us!

..and the other side had a northern traditional Christmas to appeal to my inner Yankee!

The beautiful bracelets! Imygyn absolutely adores them!

Thank you again Scooterbug!:wub::wub: Merry Christmas!

ps. Imy is especially happy that the fish she is catching on the ornament is significantly larger then mine! lol

All Y'all's exchanges are deeeeelightful and very, very Merry! Merry Christmas!!

Any ornament made with thought is fabulous. It's not the skill or the bling (though those are greatly appreciated😀), but it is the sincere intent that makes every ornament a treasure. I know it is fun to make something for someone you know, but it was so much fun to make something for someone I have never met and have no idea what they might want. It has truly made my Christmas.
