Nancy Pelosi has been elected to lead House Democrats in the new Congress despite presiding over the loss of more than 60 House seats in the midterm elections.



The 70-year-old California liberal was opposed by Rep. Heath Shuler of North Carolina in her bid to become minority leader in the new Congress. Shuler argued that Pelosi needed to go after presiding over the loss of the chamber earlier this month.

As they should have! She is probably the hardest working, most effective Speaker of the House in 50 years--controversial yes, but in a good way! I love Nancy Pelosi!

I was praying she wouldn't get booted. Having her and Reid still around reminds everyone who is to blame when things keep going down the tubes.

There are still pockets of resistance that don't think this election was a refudiation of the current administration.

She has the worst approval of any Speaker. Figures Alphacrab loves her. Just shows how far out of touch she is with our Country.
