Had a good birthday--quiet. Worked in the yard, watched Sell this House, went to dinner with Mr. DD. All the kids came over the night before and we celebrated my birthday along with two of my granddaughters. One was actually born on my birthday--she was 2 yesterday. The ex even came and brought presents for all the grand kids. Came back to reality this morning at work....I WANT TO RETIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :bang:

my parents are retiring at the end of the year, pop has worked there 48 yrs and mom has been there 47 - at the same place !! it's funny because now these 2 who instilled in me the fact that you absolutely do not miss work for any reason unless you cannot get out of bed - they look for any excuse to not go to work. and i have heard them all....they are dogsitting for us and mom will be gone 3 of the days to a red hat convention so my dad took the 3 days off work so he won't have to run home to let the dog out at lunch.😀
