The "Thanks" button serves as both a "like" and "agree" button to me. I think, if anything is to be added it should be a "dislike" or "putrid" button.😀

If we have to have the like button, can we please delete the "heart", which, to me, means something completely different. I agree with you guys sometimes, but I just don't "heart" you, ya know? :cool:

I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!! I like the "like" button when I agree, but have nothing else to add. I'm a serial liker.....

I think we get enough "like" on FB. I like thanks. Thanking people for useful posts is a good and kind thing to do. of course, we do overuse thanks at times - especially since we use it to convey so many things. Maybe we should use our words more, in place of or in addition to a thank you.

however, I can see where LIKE would be very useful in some cases. I think we would get very tired of it quickly though! Maybe there are other options that are more in tune with SoWal.com users?

"Thanks" seems nicer/more polite.

Maybe instead of "like" we could find it interesting or recommend it?

I would love a button next to a post which sends it directly to SoWal.com's Most Treasured Posts, or whatever we call it. SoWall of Fame.. or whatever. DD and others always talked about pulling these most "precious" threads and posts together in some way.
