Scott: Trust me, not Moody's | Florida politics blog: The Buzz | tampabay.com & St. Petersburg Times
This seems interesting, that the company that rates our State would have something on a concern for the propose budget of Governor Scott. I know 30 A and Andy A will enlighten me as to why this is faulty logic. Thanks in advance

I usually take Moody's with a gain of salt - weren't they a big part of the recent clusterpuck because of the ratings they gave bundled mortgages?
But this seems rather basic - economics 101 cutting your income when you have a deficit makes it worse.
Scott has his head in the sand (or stuck somewhere else) about the fact that the tax rate isn't what keeps companies from moving here. (PS, it's already very low and we have no state income tax).
It's the lack of infrastructure, our poor education system, and lack of other perks. You know, many of the things his recent proposals are making even WORSE!

Why do you think our education system is "poor"?

Because of its rankings, test scores, and general national perception.
