Tea Party Nation email

Supposedly the Tea Party Nation sent out an email that a reasonable person might conclude contains elements of racism. Here's an excerpt:

Child bearing has become something distasteful to many women, an unwanted and painful experience to be avoided rather than embraced. All of these programs, ideals and ideologies are doing one thing and one thing only - reducing America core TFR to the point of no return. The White Anglo-Saxon Protestant (WASP) population in America is headed for extinction and with it our economy, well-being and survival as a uniquely America culture.

They seem to be concerned that it's primarily immigrants who are having all the babies. I thought the tea Party only cared about out of control government spending. Full article :Joe. My. God.: Tea Party Warns: Whites Are Going Extinct

Don't worry, lots of my white friends and relatives are popping out babies like crazy!

Canoehead has decreed that we have to have kids - not for racial reasons, but to cancel out people like Brittany Spears reproducing.

I find it quite intriguing that people who say that the end of the American Way is near, the world is becoming a much worse place, what are we leaving to our grandkids, I am glad I am not going to have to live through the future, etc., are some of the same people who don't hesitate to pop out multiple kids to suffer through the exact future that they don't want to. And also encourage their kids to do the same.

Is that not hypocritical at least a little bit? And no, I am not referencing anyone specifically on Sowal.

I think most of those people biatching and moaning are past childbearing age. ;-)

And the ones actively working to fix things are young enough to have kids and are truly trying to make things better for the next generation.

Agreed, but I bet most of them sure are looking forward to spoiling the grandkids that they are expecting and asking for.

Note to Teaparty Fringe: Everyone in the world will eventually be a pale shade of mocha--and everyone will look healther, while also looking better in pastels. I think it is a plus!

I think it's hypocritical to worry about leaving your grandkids a debt, but not understand that you are not going to leave them clean water, clean food, and any type of usable energy source. They will need those things more. I honestly question the intelligence and logic of that train of thought. Money dosen't matter if you can't breath or have water to drink.

So what? Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize and promised to end the war, yet he upped the troop count and has now started another war with Libya, arming terrorists and without the support of Congress, exactly what he rightfully criticized Bush for.

Politics is all a bunch of lies with many scare tactics used to manipulate the believing public. Be fearful of any politician or political group, promising to make everything pretty for everyone.

You do understand that declaring war isn't actually covered by the US Constitution right?

Your teabag is showing.

I'm far from a teabagger but declaring war is addressed in Article 1 Section 8

Buzz, have they actually declared war in the last 10 years? I'm under the impression we are occupying three different countries(If you count Libya) with no declaration.:idontno:

We haven't declared war since WWII. Every military skirmish since then has been authorized by a congressional resolution. (Well, except one - our current war in Libya.)

My apologies, Obama should have started a fear campaign and then presented false evidence to congress and the UN before doing anything.

Actually the US Senate passed a uniamous resolution supporting a no-fly zone in Libya...March 1st.

PressTV - US Senate calls for no-fly zone on Libya

" ?urges the United Nations Security Council to take such further action as may be necessary to protect civilians in Libya from attack, including the possible imposition of a no-fly zone over Libyan territory.?

If France was first country to recognize the rebels in Libya and the first country to bomb targets in Libya how did Obama start the war?

He played that role by approving it in the U.N. Security Council. Along with every other nation on that panel that voted for it.

"The Libyan War"

That's got a nice ring to it. I wonder if it has a Wikipedia page yet.. ah no, it's an "intervention" at this point.
