Seems they are pretty much on the same page on fiscal issues but social issues are causing some riffs.

Here in TX the Tea Partyers ditched our deficit issues and went full out to legislate on social issues.

So who will the Tea Partyers rally around for 2012 pres race? Romney or Bachmann or ..... ?

From the beginning, the Tea Party has always had another agenda besides lower taxes and fiscal responsibility. The fringe element and issues change, the level of crazy stays the same.

It's always been a cover for the religious right. Why does the local tea party start their rallies with prayer? It's certainly not meant to include agnostic fiscally responsible libertarian types.

Anyone seems to be able to put on the Tea Party mask, hood, or tiara. It is definitely a "party" that is not by invitation only, and it lacks a defined theme. Not my kinda partay.
