Anyone else catch it? I tuned in for the first 45 minutes or so. Ron Paul was "Ron Paulish" as usual, always fun to watch. Cain, meh, his four point plan for everything got a little old. Santorum - thumbs down, he's like Dick Cheney with hair. Johnson had great perspective but like Paul his views are too libertarian for the republican (and the democratic) party.Tim Pawlenty overall probably won the debate. He really surprised me, I was expecting someone less composed and charismatic but he turned out to be the most presidential of all the candidates. He's going to be one of the front runners for sure.

Right, and that is why Obama said that he was pulling out the troops if he was elected. Yep, I'm convinced. Most every Republican was worried that Obama wouldn't protect the USA if elected, because of Obama's hard stance against the USA being in war and because of his odd win of the Nobel Peace Prize. Now, some are worried about Ron Paul for the same reason.
Ron Paul won a Nobel Peace Prize?? That's news to me.

Now, you are just trying to stir the puddin'.
I like the way you hi-jack the thread with no input on the GOP debate.

I certainly wasn't taking your posts seriously. They were obviously meant to be satirical. Uhm weren't they? Nothing you said made much sense o had any logical consistency.
I didn't watch the debate. I simply asked a reasonable question about Ron Paul's views on foreign policy. As usual you misinterpreted things, and read something into it. Get a clue.

I think joe has a point, Ron Paul has been against this war for years. Obama said many of the same things prior to the election but has failed to come through. In fact, as 30ashopper points out above, on many issues Obama is nothing more than DemoBush. Or maybe Bushama. Ron Paul may be many things but he has a long record of not being Bushlite. Obama can't say the same.

I don't recall Obama lying about weapons of mass destruction as a reason for going to war.

Give him time. Besides, he does not need to start a war, he was handed two. Oh wait, I forgot Libya. Guess he thinks three wars are better than two.

Barack Bushama
It's got a nice ring to it. 😀
I really have a hard time reconciling Obama, he's a crazy weird cross between a big government liberal, tax cutter, and a war hawk. For me he seems very unpredictable on policy in general. I'll never be able to reconcile some of his decisions, like the libyan war. That just didn't make any sense.
