The speech to the joint houses of Congress by Prime Minister Netanyahu this morning on the Israli-Palestinian situation was a jewel in the crown of diplomacy and statesmanship. He spoke for just over an hour and laid out the Palestine-Israel conflict clearly and succinctly. If you missed it, try and pick up at least the highlights of the speech.

I see not the slightest bit of intolerance. Harsh criticism, but not intolerance.

Describing an entire group of religious people as a cancerous tumor on society isn't criticism in my book, it's hatred and intolerance. You might have different standards than I do.

There is much more to Israel than their religious affiliation. Maybe Bob's still pissed over the bombing of the Liberty, who knows?

It's no different than the history of manifest destiny. I am intolerant of lies.

It's not just that region that is religiously insane. You don't need to go any further than your own street to find religious nuts preaching intolerance and violence.

The Mideast is #1 in that regard. The U.S. is #2. Fortunately, I think we are a distant 2nd, but it's still troubling.

I'd rather we weren't even in the top 50.

With the historic changes slowly coming about with the Arab Spring, so incremental and gradual changes must come from Israel as well. Of course Hamas MUST recognize Israel's right to exist peaceably in the region-- that is the first important step, their step.
