The PINK house will be rockin' this weekend...

As we celebrate two huge events...our beach house is 50 years old this summer and the grand matriarch, Mama Sis, will be 85 years YOUNG this Sunday. ALL of our family will be in attendance as we wish Mom a happy, happy 85th birthday. We have all been blessed by Mom's sense of humor and sense of "doing what's right". She is still beautiful...inside and out. This day she doesn't have to cook or even pay for the food!!! :clap_1: :clap_1:

Look for the banner commemorating our Lodge's 50th year and listen for the laughter and music. Stop by and join in the festivities....Five generations of the Pinkston family have shared in creating memories at Grayton Beach.

And, I can't end this post without mentioning that my daughter, the oldest of the twelve Generation IV cousins will also be 35 this weekend. Happy Birthday, Princess!

:clap_1: :clap_1: We all survived!!! :clap_1:  :clap_1:

It was a great weekend and everyone of our immediate family except the travelling steele4 were in attendance. We had a "full house" and even had a few folks staying at Mama Sis & Daddy Brown's house in Santa Rosa.

We tried to surprise the "QUEEN" but she is just way too smart and she trained us too well....we could not overlook this important milestone. We had four generations of Pinkstons and lots of laughter and sharing of memories of Grayton and our childhoods.

Thanks for the good wishes. I'm sure one of my talented siblings will post some photos later.

Check out our banner, too. A collaborative effort, and really nice. THANKS, GUYS and Wendy!

Sorry I missed you and several other members of the family last night at the RedBar, OldTimer. I have a couple of photos I will try to upload later if they turned out decent. I believe I met the remainder of your family and Pat's family last night and today. Wendy is a trip. I hope they all made it home safely last night or this morning. :floor:Again, I say, that you all come from good genes. Mama Sis must be extremely proud of the values instilled in her family. You guys are some of the nicest, warmest, most welcoming people whom I have ever known. Your lives may not be without troubles along the way, but you are tops on my list of people. I say you are all good peeps and I love you all dearly!

Thanks, SJ, for all the nice words. Sorry I missed you, too, but we were only there from Sunday am till Monday....other family obligations.

We have certainly had our challenges in life, but we all know that we have been blessed more than our share.

The PINK house will be busy all summer and we are glad to share our fun times with all.

Have a good summer!

Maybe we should call it the "rockin' house" instead of the PINK house? :idontno: :idontno:

All I can say about that is that we had a FULL house this past weekend....and that just may be TOO many people...all related and no guests of guests (I don't think???).

ROCK ON!!! GRAYTON RULES!! :clap_1: :clap_1:
