What does yours look like? And can you fit into it this season? 😀
I have a new suit this year. My sister in Maine bought it at an end of summer clearance sale. For our mother. She thought my mother should show more leg. My mother didn't think so. She gave it to one of her girlfriends who shouldn't show more leg. Luckily the girlfriend knew this and gave it back to my mother. So my mother took it to Atlanta, where she gave it to my sister-in-law, who gave up leg about two babies ago. My SIL gave it back. Then my mother visited our condo at Thanksgiving, where she left it on the back of the bathroom door for me to discover at Christmas. Of course I already knew about this traveling swimsuit so I was onto the game. I knew it wasn't a present from Santa. The funny thing is, it fits me, so I'm going to wear it. It debuts on June 10th, Grayton Beach. 😀 😀

My husband thinks (he dosen't actually say it) that I should look like I did when we were dating 25 yrs. ago. The bad thing is, HE still does, with a little gray hair!! :pissed: And we're leaving for our vacation on June 9th. He's going to be in shock when he sees me walk out in my swim suit.

I didn't find anything I liked and decided I needed to lose a few pounds before trying again. A couple of weeks ago I stopped in a TJMaxx and tried on 3 and ended up buying 2. I love them and I think I got both for around $50. When one would have cost $88. I'm sure they're probably last season but who cares. The black one looks better on than on the hanger and the tropical one probably looks better on the hanger than on me!
Mermaid, cute traveling swimsuit story and lucky you that it fit!

And, BR...how WONDERFUL you are able to wear a string bikini--I'm so happy :bang: for you!! LOL! Mermaid, I loved your story of the traveling suit! I am not saying or even thinking about a suit yet---I'm on this major health kick and hoping I will lose some lbs. along the way....heck, I might even wear last year's 😱 . I usually end up wearing a shirt over it anyway, cuz I don't wanna burn....
