I didn't mention in my trip report that we had a virtual symphony in the back yard every night. I guess with all the rain, the frogs were in heaven. I mean, they were sooooo loud! And so many of them. A couple of nights it went on all night. There was other talent too, just not sure what all those sounds were. Cicadas? Crickets? What kind of frogs are there do you think? Kurt, you would have loved it.

DD, since we put in our pond, we have a symphony many nights. The tree frogs bark and the toads make a garbled whistle noise over and over. The female calls, the male calls back. Sometimes i get loaded and go out with the flashlight and catch the tree frogs and throw them over the fence. They come back with more friends, so it's a challenge and big fun for the girls. (and me)
