When the stoneware coaster sticks to the bottom of the glass and falls on your foot.

made me laugh. hope it didn't hurt too much cause I would feel bad. laughing, that is.

My metal coaster does that too - but doesn't hurt as much!

Toots, it does freakin' hurt--but it is funny--especially if you're here and get to witness all the cussing. :pissed:
SB, I need to get me some STRAW coasters or some other light weight material.

Mine are brass w/ a felt bottom. The cardboard ones I swipe from bars just get soggy.

Try leather or woven grass.
