😀 PC Beach has a new aquatic park with an olympic size pool, another outdoor family pool much like the one here at Mud Island and a water slide. Nice pool for kids! Might give Shipwreck Island some competition. Looks nice. $10.00 for adults for the day and $6.00 per child! Here is the link!

I know alot of Sowal locals probably do not like hearing things about activities to do in PC Beach. But where we stay at Inlet Beach, we are just west of the Pinnacle Port condos and it is closer for us to go PC Beach way. Franny, I have been as far as Eden Gardens State Park in Pt. Washington. What other places are there that we could go see if we continue up 395? Thanks. I like places that are very picturesque so I can take digital pictures, like we did at Econfina Creek in Youngstown and Eden Gardens.

We just checked out the PC Beach Aquatic Park last night while at a softball game. I was VERY impressed. The little kids will love the playground in the middle of a shallow pool. It's a very nice pool area and I can see that it will be a great place to hang out for hours. To be honest, I was very jealous that PCB has such a nice facility and we have - nada!
I still can't believe we don't have a pool for kids to take swimming lessons here. For those on the east end of SoWal, the PC Beach Aquatic Park is a great alternative for lessons. They're only $45 for 8 lessons. We're thinking of taking the kids there for lessons and we're on the West side of SoWal.
Note that the PC Beach Aquatic Pool welcomes everyone, but depending on where you live, the price varies. The prices previously quoted are for non-FL residents. If you're a FL resident it's $5/adult and $3/child (I think it was under 14 and under). There are also memberships available. PCB and Bay Co. residents get a good deal on those.

Thanks for the update on the prices. I get emailed the PC Beach newsletter every month, that is where I saw it. I didn't read much past the $10.00 and the $6.00, and then started looking at the pictures. Which is reasonable to me for non Florida residents. Especially since you can stay all day. Florida residents should get better prices. It is a cute play area. Don't know what PC Beach brings in every spring and summer during the tourist months but I am sure it is quite a large amount of dollars, obviously enough to build the Aquatic Park.

It's good to see them go with a nice big 50 meter pool there since there isn't another public one like it in the Panhandle. Also smart when you're trying to draw big meets or training groups into the area. You can draw from a five state region for a nice weekend long course swim meet in that location. They just need a proper diving tower now.
