There are many lists on the internet, but I think we should compose our own list. Oh, come on, play...it's Tuesday night and I am the ONE PERSON in Dallas/Ft.Worth NOT watching the Mavs. I just finished watching Janis Joplin on Biography, so I'll start it with one of her songs...(no particular order). I know there have been similar posts, but this is just for funn, ok?:biggrin:

1. A little piece of my heart
2. Hotel California
3. House of the Rising Sun

* "Little Martha" Allman Bros.
* "Smack My Bit*h Up" Prodigy
* "Travellin' Shoes" Elvin Bishop
* "What's Up" 4 Non Blondes
* "City of New Orleans" Arlo Guthrie
* "Jealous Guy" Lennon
* "Without You" Harry Nilsson
* "Crying" k.d. lang
* "Both Ends Burning" Roxy Music
* "Loser" Beck
* "Try Jah Love" Third World
* "Personal Jesus" Marilyn Manson

Crocodile Rock..Elton :wub:[/QUOT

I was wondering when someone would say Elton John! :wub:
Saw him in concert and he rocked the house with that one about 5 years ago.

Used to sing "Don't go Breaking my heart with Jim who ran the karaoke at Capos.

Haven't seen any Journey songs either? :confused:

:idontno: not sure lady...I looked at the video and it sounds like Ian...but maybe they were singing a remake?...I had his album back in the 70's and I just ordered it in CD form on line yesterday! I had forgotten about some of the old music...I also ordered a J Giles CD.. Nightmares.... which I loved as a teenager!:wub:

Allifunn, I guess they probably did do a remake of it. I didn't even know anyone else had done that song. And I grew up during the 60's and 70's. But I don't recall listening to Ian Hunter though. Learn something new everyday. Great White did a pretty good version of it though. Used to sit up and watch MTV until the wee hours of the morning back when they first came on the air. Watched Headbangers Ball all the time!

Ian Hunter was the front man in Mott the Hoople, glam rock from the 70's. I believe Ian Hunter wrote the Once Bitten song. Otherwise, I know nothing about Great White other than that fatal night club fire in RI a few years back.
