tonight on The Jay Leno Show. I read that they were booked on the same night weeks ago, before her new book came out. Should be an explosive show-Leno doesn't usually get so controversial, I thought.

It was a good lesson for me. I stayed up way too late to see a fight between a smart liberal and a smart extreme right-wing conservative. (Yes, she's got some smarts...academic honors, a law degree from a top university, and very articulate.) I think they duped us! What we saw was an example of how too polar opinions can each express theirs, while being civil to each other. Leno's intro was the first clue. They should show this tape during sessions of Congress and the House of Reps. What I would have loved to hear was what Carlin had to say afterwards. I felt she was patronizing him. Intelligent, mean, and hungry constitute a bad mix. His silence was telling.

Coulter is a chicken wing in a cocktail dress. Most intelligent women with something worthwhile to say would die before they would appear on a late-night talk show in a dress up to their tu-tu and full of cutouts. The kittenish glances and flipping of the tacky hair are beneath her.
She is a media hag who has already flown too close to the sun. :puke: is a very appropriate icon for this woman, in more ways than one.

Someone give this woman a hamburger and stand back!

She is smart -- she handled herself pretty well with Leno in general -- but she is just vile. In her book she calls "liberals" (whatever that means to her I don't know) godless, yet I don't know in what God-fearing religion it is OK to make a lot of money off spewing vitriol in public. That is her thing, and that is what she does, and I'm sure she is very wealthy because of it, but I would hesitate to call her a Christian, if that is what she claims to be.

As Leno was trying to say, you can make your points without name calling, but if she tried to do it that way her bank account would not be so fat. I dunno, maybe she donates it all to religious-based charitable organizations?

I was disapointed that Carlin kept quiet, but I was really spooked by the obvious plants in the audience. That was just not a normal Leno audience ... it appears she brought an entourage, or at least there was someone buying and distributing tickets on her behalf. :creepy:

Yet somehow she graduated cum laude from Cornell then got a law degree from University of Michigan.

George was smart to keep his mouth shut.

heehee
Funny how a law degree can't seem to give her any sense of personal responsibility. If anyone is "profiting" from 9/11 deaths, it would seem to be dear Coulter and her "Godless" book.
.... alleged crimes are that Ms. Coulter knowingly swore to a false statement (giving her real estate agent's address as her own), knowingly voting in the wrong precinct and, if her legal address isn't Palm Beach, improperly taking a homestead exemption in Florida to pay a cheaper tax rate.

Donna put it perfectly:She is a media hag who has already flown too close to the sun.

Maybe Carlin just felt sorry for her?

She really seems kind of, well, nuts.
