We took our laptop to Sowal with us and never could get online. :bang: We had a signal from out house, Mr. Pod even went to Hibiscus and Beach Java, but we were never able to connect to the web. Now we're home, same thing. The wireless card is connecting, we're able to see that we have signal strength to connect, but nothing's happening. We've looked at our settings, blah, blah, blah. Any ideas?

Ours spam should filter all that out, but it doesn't! It is our vantek account that gets all the bad stuff! Our tech guy was down several months ago doing I do not know what to our computers. But something always goes wrong with the computers after he has done things to them or been in the system after hours updating things. You can just about bank on things not working right. This happened Thursday to everyone's computer in our office. And he is in McLean, Virginia and when we have to call him because of problems he puts us off for hours, sometimes even the next day. Sure wish we had someone local. We get the viagra ads here at home also but not like our email at work.
isn't that a pain to not have on-site help ? our pharmacy systems are run out of pennsylvania, and every time we call we get the runaround, or it takes 3 hrs to get a call back, or my personal fave - the dude who doesn't speak english who answers the help line. i usually don't have any trouble with accents, but good gosh this guy is bad !

Post 7 wasn't up when I started typing. I was multitasking - watching a movie, spending time with my family, letting the dog out, trying to re-establish my network connection multiple times, and typing (at which I'm really slow). ;-)

😀 I know I might be missing alot of funn SJ, but I am out on the beach and canoeing and waverunning and having funn down there. So I can stand one week without the computer easy enough. I enjoy deck sitting early in the morning, beach walking, except for the flies and sitting and looking at the stars at night on the deck accompanied by a glass of wine and my spouse! Love to hear the sounds of the surf!You mean you actually go to the beach when you are at the beach? I thought everyone SoWalled. :lol:
