Temps in Defuniak are expected to reach 102F degrees today. 😱Hope I don't melt. Temps should be a little cooler near the beach. These are not the "heat index" (feels-like-temps), but the actual temps. If we don't get some rain, you can kiss your local fireman and hope he puts out the fire at your beach house when it ignites from all of the illegal fireworks being shot during the fireworks ban on the 4th of July.

I have been outside a few times today, and I think the humidity must be very low, because the temperature is rather comfortable to me.

The humidity here can get so bad it feels as though you have to swim or cut through the air with a knife. Not so good for girls with naturallly curly hair who try to keep it straight...:oops:
