On a lighter note.....It's Riverbend Week in Nooga

So, my last post was too serious, so thought I would lighten it up & brag a little that it's Riverbend Festival week in Chattanooga.:clap_1:

Hey, awesome! My band Deep Blue Sun is headlining the Budweiser Rock Stage tomorrow night (Thursday june 16). We go on at 9:30. We're mainly original rock in a classic 70s/boogie funk style, but we'll be doing a few fun covers you'll know too. I'm the girl with the guitar. Come say hi if you happen to be there. 🙂

We did not have plans to go Thursday because my son has a lacrosse game, but I will DEFINITLY make the effort now. I'd love to watch.

BTW: Talk 102.3 is the only station I listen too. Usually don't listen at 8 PM but I'll have it on tonight. :cool:

I just checked out your website, looks like a fun evening with great music! I see you have played at the Variety Playhouse......we went there last year for the Gin Blossoms and loved the place.

My son's game is at 7:00 so we can probably make a 9:30 show, but will have the little otters with us. They're not fans of loud music yet, but my 9yo wants to grow up to be a hippie so I'll tell him to wear his tye-die shirt :cool:

Tomorrow nite, around 8 (ish). Gosh, i hate radio interviews, i get so tongue tied. so don't expect much hilarity or insight, though we'll try. :oops: Our wise cracking bass player is almost certain to attempt to slip in the phrase "aliens are real" even if its not appropriate. Try as we might, we can't seem to stop him from doing that... sigh
