Hey folks,
I'm sure this has been talked about but what is all that pipe for that's laying next to the roads down there? Stupid question, I know, but I was just wondering. LL

Hey folks, treated water from SoWal running to spray fields in Freeport to get rid of the excess water from sewage. They should run it through SoWal to use on lawns. Several large businesses, like HomeDepot, use treated water on their lawns.

if you're talking about the pipe on the rollers, it looks like high pressure gas pipe - seamed and sealed

If you were in one particular development, you may have seen some gas pipe, but I doubt it since it is mostly burried.

F.Y.I. the treated water pipes are pink, the culinary water pipes are blue (sometimes both are black with a pink or blue stripe).

I think it is. Here in Indiana we grow a lot of cows and corn. One of the great engineering colleges in the US, Purdue, also has a great agricultural program. *Purdue's in Indiana, up the road from us" One of our good friends had us laughing on the floor when he told us about his college years at Purdue. He didn't know what he wanted to major in, so he tried everything. The bit about cow insemination finished him off completely about having anything to do with farming in Indiana!! He said he almost flunked that class after to having to shove his hand up a cow's you-know-what. He's a mortgage broker now and he's very happy.
