We stay at Inlet Beach but do everything in PC Beach doesn't mean this person lives there. It is obvious that this person just vacations there with hubby! People need to get their "panties" out of a wad! What does it matter that this person makes a not their idea of fun comment! No big deal!

"I look on that site (Sowal) sometimes as my husband and I rent in Inlet Beach at the tail end of Walton County. But we are not on 30A. We are right off of 98 but beach front. Across from the Spicy Noodle. Everything we do is in PC Beach. Have driven back 30A one time to see Seaside as that is where the movie the Truman Show was filmed with Jim Carrey. Also at Point Washington at Eden Gardens. All they talk about are art museums and stuff. Not my idea of entertainment."

PCB truly gets a bad rap. For that matter, so does FWB. True, it's not as "high end" or trendy as other beach communities near by. There are those who are unable to visit elsewhere for whatever reason. It is gorgeous up & down the panhandle. I'd feel very blessed to have a small portion of paradise there in Panama City Beach or anywhere near there for that matter. When I drive down the strip, all I ever see is the gorgeous water. I met someone recently who visited PCB for the first time in their lives and it was the most beautiful place they'd ever seen.
I'm having a hard time getting beyond all the Panty Maw City crap.

There are very expensive homes there also. The people we rent from own and stay in their other place down there during the winter. They were trying to sell it one time and it is on a road that alot of places are beachfront but their place is not, it is across the road and they were asking $325,000.00 for it. Needless to say they didn't sell it and remodeled it and added on and kept it. But they have a rental unit they own directly beach front across the street. Cannot image what it costs. And the other beach homes right around there look like three story homes, very nice, on the beach, with swimming pools. Cannot imagine what they rent for per week!
